The author

Maria Bleahu

Maria Bleahu is an author and media educator who has taught students from 6 to 65 for nearly twenty years. A lifelong Orthodox Christian, she writes about food, faith and the joy of discovering the world one grocery aisle at a time.

Her books grow out of the markets she loves to explore, and out of a simple belief: a fast, a new ingredient or an unfamiliar store is an invitation, not a limit.
